All I want is a government that will leave me alone.
A government that won’t seek to legislate or ‘nudge’ me about what I can or can’t put into my body, be it fat, salt, alcohol, cannabis or, frankly, cyanide.
A government that will understand that only the private sector creates wealth and pays tax on it, that taxes on it’s own flunkies don’t count, and accordingly if it wants to do stupid projects like the Olympics or invade F’ckingImprobableistan then it needs the private sector to do very, very well.
A government that won’t have it’s functionaries routinely go through my rubbish to ensure that I have properly worshipped it’s Green God by providing fodder for export to a Chinese landfill, as has happened, recycling.
A government who won’t recruit 15 year old Glaswegians and then, when they turn 18, send them off to die in the desert with deeply inadequate equipment followed by a lifetime of s*** treatment if they don’t have the decency to die but instead are inconsiderate enough to live on as cripples.
A government that cares more about solving burglaries than allowing Councils to use anti-terror laws to track OAPs who dogs s*** in a park.
So. Does anyone know where I can get a government like that?
